The
Myrtles Plantation
St. Francisville, LA |
____________________________________________________________________________________ |
| NOTES |
| |
| The legendary Myrtles Plantation in
St. Francisville, Louisiana has long been regarded as one of Americas
Most Haunted Houses. It has a vast history of murders, poisonings,
voodoo and hangings on the property, not to mention the fact that
it was build on Indian Burial ground.
As we experienced firsthand, it is all that and more! We were
lucky enough to have booked our stay exactly the same time as previous
owner Frances Kermeen, author of "The Myrtles Plantation"
and "Ghostly Encounters". Obviously we picked the right
day to visit! We believe the house was as active as it was because
the spirits were glad to see her again!
As so much happened at this site, we have decided to dedicate a
chapter in our upcoming book "Talking to Ghosts: A Step by
Step Guide to Spirit Communication through Evp". But for now,
we both agree "The Myrtles Plantation" is clearly the
most haunted location we've visited to date!

This
photo was taken on the veranda at The Myrtles Plantation
House in St. Francisville, LA. During our recent trip down
south. Left to right, Debby, Mark, Frances Kermeen former
owner of The Myrtles for 10 years and author of the book
"The Myrtles Plantation" and Janice Oberding www.hauntednevada.com
our good friend and travel partner on this trip. Also, the
author of the book "Haunted Las Vegas" and many
others. Look for this investigation to appear on our site
soon!

Debby & Janice in The Courtyard |

Courtyard & Restaurant: many of us
witnessed activity going on inside the restaurant even though
it was closed. |

There is a child's chair on the veranda.
Our thoughts are that it's for one of the children that still
roam there
|
| |
|
|

As Debby walked past the otherwise closed
main house she felt the presence of a child and noticed breath
(at a child's height coming from inside the window). She pressed
her camera on the glass where she saw the breath & this
is what was caught.
|

Lights on the veranda seem to be pulling
toward the main house
|

While facing the swamp, these were lights
seen by Debby with her naked eye dancing around Francis as
she spoke.

the buildings, almost behind the pillar, as well as 2 children
on the roof to her right.

Mist in the same area where Chloe was photographed.
Note: before these pictures were developed Janice said she saw
a servant with a green dress following Debby, only to later
read the book "The Myrtles Plantation" given to us
by Frances Kermeen that "Chloe" was known to wear
green. |
