We were blessed to work The Ghost Adventure Event along with Bishop James Long ( Exorcist ) at this location. We want to emphasize that AT NO POINT did any of us provoke any entity that we did not feel was extremely dark.

Here are some of the more notable occurrences we witnessed while there:

Let me start off by saying, not only is this one of the most Haunted locations we've ever investigated, it was also, by far, the darkest, and most disturbing location we have ever been to.

Day one started off with Bobby Mackey singing "Johanna". This song was based on the spirit of a young woman said to have hung herself behind the stage. I don't consider myself a physical sensitive, but more of a mental sensitive. The interesting thing is that when Bobby Mackey played the song I found myself breaking down into tears. I actually had to walk away.

We later went behind the stage, and while asking where she was when Bobby played the song, the EVP response we recorded was "I dance"! I think it was very possible that her dancing made me react like that!

Mark, along with our good friend Pete, experienced being touched lightly while standing at the base of the ladder leading up to where Johanna hung herself. Mark also had the snap on his back pocket undone while we were back there.

From there, we sat with Nick, Pete, Mike and a few other people and watched as Dave Schrader worked with the Paranormal Puck. A few of us took turns asking questions but did not achieve much success. So I decided to turn on my Shack Hack to see if this would yield better results. I held the Shack Hack and asked the questions while Dave recorded the session. We kept it short and then listened back right away. At one point we heard a distant yelling coming out of the recorder. Mark suddenly said "Wait, play that back again" and once we did, he said "That is Zak's voice yelling". The only problem there was that Zak was way down in the basement and the voice came out of the Shack Hack! Everyone listening was in total agreement. Mark then turned to Nick and said "We need to go down into the basement to make sure Zak is okay". We rushed to the basement where Dave played my Shack Hack session to Zak and even he said "That's my voice". That is what drew us down into the basement this night, where much of what you are about to read happened shortly thereafter.

Upon entering the basement we descended to the area where the dressing rooms were. Nick walked over from across the basement saying he was scratched on his back. He lifted his shirt and the entire group witnessed scratch marks appearing on both his lower and upper back!

The next night, we went into the basement, which was without a doubt the most negative spot in the building. Once there, we entered the "The Wall of Faces" room where animals were believed to have been sacrificed. Our group included Mark, Zak, Bishop Long, Nick and myself. Nick was filming. Zak, Bishop Long, and I stood with our backs to the wall stained with blood, when as soon as Mark asked "If someone was preventing them from communicating with us" something knocked Bishop Long's recorder out of his hands so hard that it flew about ten feet away from him, breaking his recorder, for the rest of the night that is. (Oddly enough the next night his recorder was working again) Several minutes later we watched as three claw-like scratch marks surfaced on the Bishop's hand. One of the scratches actually drew little dots of blood! (An interesting side note about this is that earlier in the night we did some recording in the basement, and at one point we recorded the evp "Tonight" when either Zak or Bishop Long made the comment "Knock this out of my hand".)

At one point, I was standing between Zak and Bishop Long and I watched a very tall shadowman (very tight, not transparent) pass behind Zak.

As we left the "Wall of Faces", I turned and watched a knee-high, yellow mist swirl in the doorway we just passed through. Just then, from out of nowhere, Zak's flashlight began to drain. It went from full brightness to no light at all in about ten seconds. Zak then rolled it into the room we had just left . As Zak went to get it, it turned on, then off. This flashlight had a rubber button on the end that you would actually have to push in to turn it on and off. At that point Zak asked them to turn it on/off and we all watched as they did! Mark got the eerie feeling that whatever was in that room, was trying to lure Zak back into it, only this time alone.

At this point, we went back into the room. Nick was facing us as he was filming. Most of us were facing him. I began to see a greenish light appear about 10 ft from him in the far left corner of the room. I watched as this light kind of moved into the wall and back out of the wall, every time it came back out, it seemed bigger and at times moved across the wall. I, along with Mark & Bishop Long, witnessed it. This seemed to last about 2 minutes. Then it just stopped.

We also spent sometime in the room where "The Well" is located. This is the well that Pearl's decapitated head was believed to have been dumped, and never found. While in there, Mark asked if we were bothering them by being there. No sooner did the last word leave his mouth when a chair located in the back of the room slid across the floor about a foot. Needless to say, we all jumped!

The next night we returned to the "Blood Room". Bishop Long was wearing headphones and listening to a modified version of the Frank's Box. He can't hear anything. We were working with the Ovilus. Mark, Nick, and I were asking the questions. ( There was also a group of about 10 other people present.) As we would ask questions, Bishop Long would periodically repeat the words coming from the Franks Box. I don't remember one good thing that came out of that box: a ton of F-- U--'s, and some responses the Bishop would not even repeat, including the name of a demon!

As the session went on we continued trying to find out where Pearl's remains were. But whatever dark energy that was down there had it's own agenda, because the responses suddenly turned personal. It knew things about Mark and I that no one else knew. Then our children came up with the words "Watch the oven", "Home", "Fire", "Kitchen" and "Kids" At that point we thought it best to call home to check on our kids. They were at home cooking pasta, and all was ok. The strange thing was when we called our daughter asked, "Why are you sensing a fire?" We then knew that whatever was feeding Bishop Long those words was attempting to defeat us and force us to leave the basement. We later learned that earlier in the evening Aaron did end up leaving the basement for this same reason, and Nick also had responses turn personal for him. Zak then came down to join us and the responses quickly turned personal for him also. As we were leaving the basement Mark, Nick, Pete and one other person decided to stay behind and record for EVP. They heard loud footsteps and recorded a very creepy sounding EVP saying "Come Here" when Mark asked if they had a message for Nick.

At 2:00 am Mark, Nick, Dave Schrader, and a few other people were upstairs talking to the Paranormal Puck and my Shack Hack while Dave recorded me asking questions. It was then that we got a voice that sounded exactly like Zak's, but it was yelling! Even Nick confirmed that it was Zak's voice. When we brought it down to the "Wall of Faces" room where Zak had been the entire time, he even said "That's my voice!!"

Mark & I have an even greater respect for Zak, Nick, & Aaron. To investigate these locations is one thing, but to actually be locked in and then separated from one another must be quite another!
